PRESIDENT
Peter Purves
Peter is one of Britain's most experienced Presenters and Speakers.
He first came to fame in 44 episodes of Doctor Who before his 10 years in the brilliant children's TV show Blue Peter. Peter has since presented numerous TV series including Kickstart, Superdogs, Stopwatch and Crufts Dog Show as well as being very active in the theatre and many outside interests.
Peter first started presenting Crufts Dog Show in 1978 and continued being Presenter and Commentator up to 2008. He has also been involved in the presentation of numerous other dog programs and dog events such as All About Dogs, The Wag and Bone Show and Discover Dogs.

Vice President
Mrs Vicki Herrieff ( Snowgoose )
Vicki has owned a number of breeds including gundogs, Bouvier des Flanders, Wolfhounds, Leonberger and both owned and bred Maltese since the 1960's, being the O.D. Top Breeder for 1983, 1985,1987,1991 & 1993.
Vicki has made up some 15 Maltese Champions under the Snowgoose prefix and many more overseas. The Snowgoose prefix has enjoyed top honours, winning multiple championship Toy Groups, Specialty Best in Shows, and All Breed Championship Best in Shows.
She has been a committee member of the Maltese Club since the early 1970's and is presently a Vice President and Health Officer for the breed.
Now a retired Championship Judge, having officiated at Crufts.
Was a weekly breed note correspondent for one of the U.K.'s leading dog papers, and an active contributor to articles and seminars.
Presently proud to be the Vice President of the Canine Supporters Charity.
Hon. Chairman
David Spencer ( Hartboys )
David bought his first show Boxer and began exhibiting in 1967. He was elected Hon Secretary of the L & HC Boxer club in 1970 and continued to be for 18 years becoming elected President in 2009. His first judging appointment was in 1972 judging Boxers going on to award CC's in the breed in 1981. David is an elected member of the Kennel Club and is the Chairman for Home Counties Boxer Welfare.
David is well known for writing the 'To the Rescue' column in Dog World. David made up his first Champion Boxer in 1993, has judged the breed at Crufts. He has also judged in Australia and New Zealand.
David has commentated at Crufts, Richmond, LKA, Southern Counties and The Canine Supporters Charity over the years. He became Hon. Chairman of The Canine Supporters Charity in 1998.
David is now the besotted owner of a black rescue Pug called Pugsley.

Vice Chairman
Glynn Payne ( Fearnought )
Glynn has owned, bred and shown Bulldogs since 1984. He became a Committee member of the Junior Bulldog Club in 1988 and became President in1998. He represents the Club on the Bulldog Breed Council and is on the Breed Council Judges sub committee. Glynn has been a Committee member of The South of England Bulldog Society since 1996.
Glynn has owned, bred and shown Mastiffs since 1994 and was Chairman of the Mastiff Association and served on the judges sub committee. Glynn has also served as the Hon. Secretary of The Old English Mastiff Club, and served on the judges sub committee.
Glynn is Vice Chairman and Show Manager of the Canine Supporters Charity which holds the Contest of champion Show Dogs.
Glynn is a Committee member of Southern Counties Canine Society Championship Show.
Glynn is also a member of the Kennel Club.
Glynn has owned and bred Champions both in Bulldogs and Mastiffs and also owns a Finnish Spitz Champion.
Glynn awards CC's in Bulldogs, Bullmastiffs, Dobermans, Great Danes and Mastiffs.
Glynn has judged in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Russia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain and Tenerife. Glynn judged Bulldogs at the European Dog Show in Hungary in October 2008. He has further appointments in Sweden, Finland and America.
Glynn's hobbies outside dogs are Chelsea Football Club and Scuba diving. Where he is an advanced open water diver. His passion is Sharks. He has dived and stroked a Great White Shark.

Stuart Band ( Essandsee )
Stuart, along with his partner, Cindy McCarthy, has been showing for 30 years. They have enjoyed success with a variety of breeds, including Affenpinchers, Bearded Collies, Bolognese and Bouvier Des Flandres. Their Bergamasco was Top Imported Register All Breeds from 2005 until his retirement in 2009. They are currently campaigning an imported Havanese and are pioneering the presentation of the breed in a corded coat.
Stuart began judging in 1980 and judges a number of breeds in the Pastoral, Toy and Working groups at both open and championship level. He has served on various breed club commitees and is currently Treasurer of Richmond Championship Dog Show. Chairman of Crystal Palace Canine Association, Chairman of South Eastern Counties Toy Dog Society and Secretary of the Bergamasco Club of Great Britan
A member of the Kennel Club, he is a regular contributor to Our Dogs and reports on several prestigious shows including Crufts and Westminster Dog Show in the USA.
He has been a competitor at he Contest of Champions on several occasions and is honoured to be Treasurer of the Canine Suppoeters Charity.

Karina Le Mare ( Helmlake )
Karina Le Mare was born in Norway. Her parents bred Great Danes, Setters, Pointers and Wire Fox Terriers, and she grew up surrounded by animals. Karina attended the Rudolf Steiner School which instilled in her a reverence for life and animals.
She holds a BA Degree in Modern Languages and speaks Norwegian, French, German, Spanish, Italian and English.
Karina is the Proprietor of Wey Farm Boarding & Breeding Kennels & Cattery and Wey Farm Quarantine. Karina published in 1992 her book " Great Danes - An Owners Companion " and has written many articles on Canine subjects.
Karina has judged in Australia, USA, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Africa and in Europe. She has judged four World Shows. Karina awards CC's in Great Danes, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Bull Mastiffs, Newfoundlands, Boxers, Border Collies, Pekingese and Bulldogs and Judges the Working Group. All breeds at Open show level.
In the working group, 25 UK Champion Great Danes carry the the Helmlake prefix, winning over 140 CC's. Karina has made up 4 Champion Dobermans, winning 28 CC's & 18 Res CC's. She has made up 2 Chihuahuas winning 14 CC's & 5 Res CC's, a Hungarian Visla winning 4 CC's, 1 CH Standard Poodle, a Finnish Spitz with 25 CC's and CC's in Cocker Spaniels and Miniature Pinschers.
The Prefix, HELMLAKE, is known worldwide. There are many international champions carrying the name of HELMLAKE.

The Committee
Sarah Baldwin ( Sharlamane )
Sarah first started showing dogs in 1994 following a successful first show with her pet Irish Wolfhound. She continued to show firstly Wolfhounds and later with her Bassets Fauves de Bretagne.
Sarah Has judged Bassets Fauves, including the Club show in 2009, Irish Wolfhounds and P.B.G.V.'s.
Sarah has been a Committee member of Kingston C.S. and has been on the C.S.C. Committee for 10 years.

Barry Canty ( Bargemon )
Barry and his wife Carole have been avid show exhibitors since 1988. They were asked in the early 1990's to help out at the Crystal Palace Canine Association General Open Shows and for the last ten years Carole has been Secretary and Treasurer, and Barry has been Show Manager.
Barry is also a serving Committee member of the Eastern Bearded Collie Association ( Secretary ), British Briard Club ( Show Manager ), Affenpinscher Club ( Treasurer & Show Secretary ).

Linda McCall ( McLight )
Linda had her first dog as a present when she was eight years old. She started to show GSD's in 1987.
Linda purchased her first Irish Wolfhound in 1999 and steadily aquired more, and to date has had five litters. The third litter provided her first Champion and she now handles all of the Ballalyn Irish Wolshoundsas well as her own.
Linda started judging in 2006 and is now on several judging lists.
Linda serves as a Committee member for Romford & District C.S. and for Kingston C.S.

Dennis McMillan ( Ballalyn )
Mac was an International Motor Cycle Racer, Won many Championships and raced in the Isle of Man T.T. Races.
In 1980 he got his first Irish Wolfhound which accompaned him to the T.T. races.
Mac started judging in 1981 and now awards CC's for nine Hound breeds and the Hound Group. He judged Irish Wolfhounds at Crufts in 1999 and judged in many European and Scandinavian Countries.
Mac and his wife have bred approximately 20 Champions at home and abroad, gaining over 100 CC's. Together they have bred Top Dogs in Irish Wolfhounds and Greyhounds.
Mac has served on Kingston C.S. for over 25 years and on the C.S.C. Committee over 10 years. He has also been a member of the Kennel Club for 10 years.
