Entries for the prestigious Contest of Champions are past the half way mark, which is a great response as the invitations have only recently been sent out.

Please make sure that you return your acceptance as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as places are on a first come basis.

After the 30th January, invitations will be sent out to the runner up dogs in breeds that have not replied, inviting them to enter.

Last years contest was won by Mr Lee's Bulldog, Ch Mellonmood One In A Million.

The three joint runners up were;

Mrs R & Miss Jackson's Maltese, Ch Bendtone Gold Boots. 

Mr & Mrs May's Beared Collie, Ch Sengalas Indiana Jones.

Mrs Alexander's Dalmation, Ch Offerdale Sapphire.

This years Contest of Champion Show Dogs will be held on Saturday 13th April 2013 at the Thistle Hotel London Heathrow.

Timetable of events:

Reception                              4.00 pm

Gala dinner                           5.00 pm

Contest commences            7.00 pm

Awards ceremony                9.30 pm

Dancing                                 10.00 pm

Carriages                               2.00 am

Ticket price £ 42.50 each

In addition to the Gala dinner and Disco, there will also be a raffle with fantastic prizes and auction to include sporting memorabilia and canine art.

Bedrooms for this event are £ 55.00 single occupancy & £ 65.00 double occupancy including Full English buffet breakfast.

Car parking is charged additionally @ £ 4.00 per car for guests staying overnight and also for guests attending the day show and evening event.

Please be aware that if you book your room online through a booking agent you will be subject to the full car park charge of £ 10.00 and will you be getting breakfast included? The room rates for our event are very reasonable.
